The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Officer is the principal point of contact within the Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency (HSEMA) for advice and policy guidance on matters pertaining to the administration of the FOIA. How to Make a FOIA Request
FOIA requests may be submitted orally or in writing. If the request is written, the envelope or email subject line shall prominently be marked "FOIA Request." The FOIA Officer may ask that an oral request be reduced to writing if the requested records are not customarily made available by the public body. District Department of Transportation (DDOT) Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Traffic Camera Feed Requests
HSEMA manages DDOT CCTV traffic feeds to increase situational awareness during emergencies.
Any individual or group seeking access to DDOT CCTV footage from one or more of the cameras listed below can do so by submitting a request to the FOIA Officer listed above.
NOTE: Camera feeds are automatically cleared every ten (10) calendar days including weekends and holidays. For example, footage captured on January 20, 2014 at 10:05 a.m. is cleared on January 30, 2014 at 10:04 a.m. The Agency recommends submitting your request as soon as possible to increase the likelihood your request can be filled.
