The DC Office on Aging is hosting the Mayor’s 6th Annual Senior Symposium. This year’s theme, “Healthy Living. Healthy Hearts. Healthy Homes.” includes wide-ranging topics on what it means to live well. The symposium will include workshops on a variety of topics relevant to seniors in the District. These topics include those related to healthcare, technology, elder justice, housing, senior villages, caregivers support, accessing government resources, long-term care planning, emergency preparedness and more! DC HSEMA personnel will be on-site sharing emergency preparedness tips designed to prepare seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those with access and functional needs for emergencies and disasters. Outreach
