Route:

• Entering DC from VA via the Francis Scott Key Bridge
• At the top of the ramp, turn left onto the Key Bridge towards Georgetown using all lanes
• Turn right onto M Street NW using all lanes of traffic
• Turn right onto Wisconsin Avenue NW
• Turn left onto K Street NW underneath Whitehurst Freeway
• Turn right onto 27th Street NW
• Turn right onto I Street NW
• Turn right onto Virginia Avenue NW
• Turn right onto northbound Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway NW
• Make left U-turn at median of Beach Drive NW & Shoreham Drives NW
• Remain in southbound lanes on Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway NW
• Remain on the Rock Creek & Potomac Parkway heading south past the Kennedy Center and underneath Theodore Roosevelt Bridge
• Bear left onto Ohio Drive SW passing beneath Arlington Memorial Bridge
• Remain to the right of the John Ericsson National Memorial as Ohio Drive meets Independence Avenue
• Turn right onto Ohio Drive SW entering West Potomac Park along the Potomac River
• Cross the bridge and bear right continuing on Ohio Drive SW towards East Potomac Park
• At Buckeye and Ohio Drive SW, stay to the right along the Potomac River running against the one way traffic pattern on Ohio Drive SW
• Continue on Ohio Drive SW towards the end of the Hains Point peninsula
• Continue on Ohio Drive SW around the East Potomac Park Golf Course
• Stay to the right with the traffic pattern on Ohio Drive along Washington Channel as the roadway splits
• From East Potomac Park, turn right onto East Basin Drive S
• Turn left onto Maine Avenue SW against the traffic pattern along the Tidal Basin
• Continue on Maine Avenue as it turns onto Independence Avenue remaining against the traffic pattern
• Bear left onto Independence Avenue SW heading west against the traffic pattern along the Tidal Basin crossing the Kutz Bridge
• Make right U-turn around the grass median remaining on Independence Avenue heading east against the traffic pattern
• Turn left onto 15th Street (Raoul Wallenburg Place) NW (Runners arriving after 12:33 will be directed to remain on Independence Avenue then turn right onto14th Street SW and continue as normal.)
• Turn right onto Madison Drive NW and cross 14th Street NW remaining on Madison Drive against the one way traffic pattern
• Turn left onto 3rd Street NW
• Turn right onto Pennsylvania Avenue towards the Capitol Turn left onto Peace Circle and continue clockwise
• Turn left onto 1st Street NW
• Turn left onto Garfield Circle SW and continue clockwise
• Turn left onto Maryland Avenue SW
• Turn right onto 3rd Street SW
• Turn left onto Jefferson Drive SW against the one way traffic pattern
• Turn left onto 14th Street SW remaining in the near lanes against the traffic pattern (Runners arriving after 1:15 PM will be picked up by the Straggler Bus and transported back to Finish Festival)
• Remain on 14th Street SW towards the HOV ramps against the traffic pattern
• Cross the Potomac River returning to Virginia against the traffic pattern (south in Northbound HOV Lanes)
