Kramer Middle School and Hart Middle School are hosting a disaster preparedness and community resillience training for approximately 90 students, parents and teachers. The goal of the training is to get students thinking about disasters and how we as a community can respond to them. Hands-on science activities will take place in the museum around the theme of disasters. The DC Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency will join in to discuss emergency preparedness, disaster kits , and emergency alerts.
