The District Public Service Commission is working to help District families prepare for winter and winter related events.  To aid in this effort, they are hosting Winter Ready DC to bring together utilities, community leaders, consumer advocates, and District and federal agency partners to provide information on preparedness plans and community programs. DC HSEMA will be sharing all-hazards preparedness tips and instruction on how to sign up for the District emergency system, AlertDC.
