Current grant application and funding information:

On June 02, 2017, FEMA released the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the FY 2017 Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP). This grant provides $25,000,000 in funding support for target hardening and other physical security enhancements and activities to eligible nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of terrorist attack and are located within one of 33 designated urban areas. The maximum amount of each individual award to a specific nonprofit applicant is $75,000.

Applications for the FY2017 NSGP were due to DC HSEMA by June 18, 2016.  The application period is now CLOSED. FEMA will make final decisions on applicant funding selection and will announce the results in August-September. FEMA will issue the grant award to DC HSEMA no later than September 30, 2016, at which point sub-awards to successful applicants will be issued.
